You are transported to a different time and place when you enter Donley’s Wild West Town. Slingshots, a shooting range, pony rides, and a rollercoaster are among the rides, activities, and attractions.
Many people are unaware that Wild West Town has a local aspect. Larry and Helene Donley, who founded the amusement park in 1974 and are now the current owners, are Berwyn natives! While we were there, we spoke with Helene, who told us that her husband was interested in collecting antiques and western stuff but didn’t want to overcrowd their home with them.
Waldron Construction, Kitchen & Bath is owned and operated by Joe and Tasha Waldron. Waldron Construction has Over 75+ Years Combined Staff Experience and a large knowledge base related to building and remodeling homes as well as overseeing commercial projects. We recognize that our largest asset is our team.

As a result, they relocated to Union, where they established a museum as part of a wild west town amusement park concept. To this day, their son still runs auctions for their (and other people’s) outstanding collections.
The amount of memorabilia is incredible, and the storefronts, which include a barbershop, a kids train playroom, a mechanic shop with a car and equipment, and more, make you feel as if you’ve been transported there. There’s also a room crammed with phonographs. It’s fascinating even if you’re not interested in history or the Wild West.
Wild West Town has a ton of things to do! You’d love to try throwing tomahawks, lassoing cattle sculptures, and panning for gold pyrite with slingshots armed with wooden beads, shooting corks with air compressor loaded guns, hitting wooden buffalos with suction cup arrows in the archery area, throwing tomahawks, and shooting corks with air compressor loaded guns.
Admission
All rides and attractions are included with General Admission for children ages three and up; the only extras are food (since outside food is not permitted), costumed photos, and souvenirs. Children under the age of two are free with a paid adult. With a valid military ID, active duty personnel enjoys a $5 discount. Wild West Town is geared toward youngsters ages 3 to 12.
When you arrive, you will be given a pamphlet with the day’s schedule of events, a punch card for the rides and activities, and a gold panning pouch.

We just completed our dream kitchen remodel with Waldron Construction. We are extremely pleased with the results. Angie helped us through the design and was always a text/phone call away. The trades were excellent and were great to work with. Of course there were hiccups in the process but nothing that couldn’t be worked out. Having the schedule in front of us daily through builder trend was great too. Joe was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. We would recommend Waldron for your next home improvement project..
