Gurnee Mills is an indoor outlet mall located in Gurnee, Illinois. It is the largest shopping mall in Illinois and the second largest in the United States. The mall is owned by Simon Property Group and has over 200 stores. Some of the popular stores at Gurnee Mills include Macy’s, Sears, JCPenney, and Nordstrom Rack. In addition to its large number of stores, Gurnee Mills also features a movie theater, restaurants, and a children’s play area. If you’re looking for some retail therapy or want to spend a day out with your family, Gurnee Mills is worth checking out.
This shopping mall attracts between 15 and 20 million visitors each year. In addition to its retail tenants, the mall features an amusement park called “WonderWorks” and several restaurants. WonderWorks is a 31,000-square-foot facility containing more than 100 interactive exhibits covering science, technology, and math. The mall is located off Interstate 94, about 40 miles north of Chicago. It is one of Illinois’ most popular tourist destinations and significantly contributes to the local economy.
The mall has a few rides and attractions, including a carousel and a mini-golf course. There are also several attractions for children. Gurnee Mills is a popular destination for school groups from the Chicago area and serves as a field trip destination for many students. The mall is also home to various events throughout the year, such as holiday-themed events and concerts. You definitely won’t run out of things to do at Gurnee Mills.
Finally, you can decide to watch a movie. AMC Theater has 18 screens at the mall, including an IMAX theater. Gurnee Mills is open Monday through Saturday from ten in the morning until nine at night and on Sunday from eleven in the morning until six at night. Admission to the mall is free. Parking is also free, but it can be crowded on weekends.

We just completed our dream kitchen remodel with Waldron Construction. We are extremely pleased with the results. Angie helped us through the design and was always a text/phone call away. The trades were excellent and were great to work with. Of course there were hiccups in the process but nothing that couldn’t be worked out. Having the schedule in front of us daily through builder trend was great too. Joe was very responsive whenever we had questions or concerns.
